December Bridge Letter 2009
First Seasons Greetings to all my readers!
We have just arrived back from the Bahamas, where the temperature was 85 degrees plus every day. We had a really good time and would like to thank everyone in the Nassau bridge club who made us so welcome.

Thank you Noreen, we did enjoy our visits to Breezes Hotel.

It was not a bridge holiday, we went to visit some friends from a previous life, but nevertheless we managed to get a few games of bridge between the reunions that were taking place.
Back to the rigours of a British winter we have found jet-lag a huge problem, do not think that we will be venturing so far in the near future.
Once again I have been looking for Christmas presents and have been entranced by the Chess and Bridge catalogue.
www.bridgeshop.com
so many gifts, think I might treat us to a few things for our modest parties. We have six people coming on January 12th.
I thought the napkins looked fun and also the gift sets from
Design Design.
Another good source of bridge presents can be found at
baggdirect@live.co.uk
They also sell golf related gifts. I have also been looking at the EBU shop where some of the presents caught my eye tttttttthe notes and quotes seem very original and good as a stocking filler.
