Good news for bridge players! Dr Marian Diamond at the University of California has done research which claims that playing bridge stimulates the dorsolateral cortex which is believed to influence the immune system. So we will all find it easier to fight off infections.

I have been looking at some of the websites which have lots to offer the bridge player.
www.greatbridgelinks.com I found was a treasure trove, it took all my will power to leave the site and get back to work. The site itself is colourful and easy to negotiate.
I noted the sites which I thought were worth looking at
http://www.bridgedoctor.com/index.php and
www.bridgehands.com/bridgeblog
There was a great site offering gifts for bridge players , some I have already marked down for next Christmas. info@sevennotrumps.com After all the longest day is well past.
I also found a site which is offering help in setting up a club website www.bridgewebs.com this site is a comprehensive guide and also lists club which have set up webs and it is possible to link up with them to see how they are using the new info. Very helpful!!
I saw a site which was offering table tops for people who for some reason could not find room for a card table. Worth a thought
