APRIL  BRIDGE LETTER 2011

Hi everyone.

Just back from our holiday in the sun, 
which was really really good!

We were in Tenerife and had our usual warm welcome from the local Bridge clubs.

We spent lots of time lying in the sun and enjoyed our trips to the clubs.

We met up with friends we made last year,
Valerie and Michael,  and made new ones Sue and Ray.

 The other club we visited is run by Harry and Betty who made us feel at home as soon as we stepped through the door.

We did not get to the Italian Club at the hotel Grand Arona this year which was a shame as I really enjoyed the bridge con brio last year!!!

We have heard of another club,  a French one which would suit the fluent French speaker of our partnership down to the ground,  but think it might be too far away to get to via public transport.
A big part of the holiday is to relax without having to drive so the French club has yet to have the undoubted pleasure of our company!

Some new sites which might be of use:-  the New York Times is offering information about the game we all love, might be interesting to get an international slant on the game.
