We have just returned from one of our favourite haunts,
the island of Malta.
We lapped up two weeks of beautiful sunshine which has given
a boost for the busy Christmas season.
We were made very welcome by the Malta bridge clubs and thoroughly enjoyed our visits.
We were staying in a hotel on the front in Sliema and had only to walk or bus a mile down the road to get to the clubs.

The hotel, the Plaza Regency leases some space on the ground
floor to a restaurant called the Vecchia Napoli.

This was an amazing find, the pasta was out of this world!!!
We ate there every night after our first visit, working our way down the menu.
Terry spent several years working in Italy and reckoned this was the best pasta he had ever eaten.
So if you are ever in Malta please give it a try.

Seniors’ minimum age stabilized at 60 - As from 2010, the WBF decision to gradually increase the age limit for senior players is fully implemented.
Seniors are now players who attain at least their 60th birthday in the year in question.
